The Parol Kits
Our Parol Kits allow anyone to make traditional, five-pointed star lanterns made of real bamboo sticks; just like how it was done in the old days. We have two diameter sizes: 18-inches and the NEW ! larger 28-inches.

Bamboo is native from the Philippines; naturally flexible and strong. They are specifically selected for quick and easy parol-making. They are cut in flat strips about 18 (or 28 )inches long, 1/2 inch wide, and about 1/32 of an inch thick.
Each kit includes ten pre-cut bamboo sticks, three sheets of Japanese rice paper, ample string, and
a page of simple and easy-to-follow directions on how to make your own parol. The paper is more than enough to cover the entire parol, plus some to make the tassels and other decorations.
NEW! We also offer pre-wired cord sets that are ready to install. It includes 7-ft cord, a plug and socket. (Bulb not included)

- Money Orders or Personal checks. All payments should be in U.S. Dollars only. We will ship as soon as your payment clears.
Notes
We do not accept C.O.D. or cash. We will not be responsible for cash lost in the mail.
Illinois Sales Tax
All orders shipped to Illinois addresses must include a 6.25% sales tax. Sales tax is not collected on shipments to recipients outside of Illinois.
